The goal of the Office of Intellectual Property and Technology Transfer is to benefit society
with Iowa State innovations. Iowa State University has also established a website to assist biotechnology
companies, www.industry.iastate.edu. The focus of
the site is "to provide access to all the university’s business resources in one user-friendly
interface."

IOWA Centers for Enterprise offer a comprehensive program that promotes economic development
and technology transfer, provides assistance to Iowa startups and existing Iowa businesses and
communities, and helps the state of Iowa develop a creative, entrepreneurial workforce. Also, IOWA
Centers for Enterprise programs optimize the flow of University intellectual property into
opportunities for licensing, commercialization and business development.
