Frost & Sullivan is looking for a Sr. Industry Analyst in the Life Sciences of our Transformational Health department to join our team in San Antonio, TX. This position description provides a summary only of the key responsibilities of the role.

Responsibilities
- Contribute to development of the Healthcare business unit’s strategy and alignments - this includes identifying life sciences client targets and content strategy.
- In Vitro Diagnostics Device experience a plus.
- Develop bespoke client solutions through thought leadership in the life sciences space and deliver presentations on site with clients and at industry events.
- Establish relationships with industry experts / market participants, client executives and end-users of research for the purpose of designing research strategy, and inputs into written market analyses, competitive intelligence reports and client briefing deliverables.
- Contribute to production plans, delivering quality insights within the scope, objectives, timeline and budget for assigned lifescience studies.
- Conduct primary/secondary tailored market research within the clinical diagnostics/ pharmaceuticals sector, using detailed research methodologies suck as key opinion leader interviews and end user surveys coupled with complex market modeling.
- Analyze and benchmark, market competition through sound understanding of the global regulatory guidelines and reimbursement for clinical diagnostics.
- Author and produce deliverables that provide deep dive market forecast, product portfolio analyses and competitor analysis for a variety of clinical diagnostics segments players within core focus are as such as tissue diagnostics, hematology, urinalysis, molecular diagnostics, microbiology and point of care testing.
- Contribute to the development of analytical frameworks for research and consulting projects.
- Provide strategic commentary and insight into market trends and developments and contribute to media inquiries/interviews and articles.
- Support research and sales management teams on new client acquisition.
- The candidate may also be requested to assist with additional tasks from time to time.

Qualifications
- Bachelor or Master’s degree preferably in Life Sciences/Pharma/Biotech or healthcare related fields.
- D or MBA qualifications will be an added advantage.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in market intelligence/market research/analysis/marketing/corporate strategy teams within healthcare domain preferably in Life sciences or Clinical Diagnostics assignments.
- Proficiency in data compilation and analysis to develop industry perspectives and relevant assessment of industry trends / impact.
- Good time management and project management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and Power point.
