Summary

The Sr. Compensation Analyst is an important part of the Seagen Compensation team. This role will support our Compensation function as the company grows domestically and internationally. The successful incumbent will report to the Director of Compensation. They will provide compensation support to the global compensation team on various projects and assignments. They will be responsible for annual and ad hoc survey submissions. They will also be responsible for supporting job evaluations, benchmarking, and promotions as well as and assisting recruiters and HR with job codes, midpoints, etc. and any compensation-related-issues. Responsibilities also include partnering with cross-functional HR teams to support HR cyclic processes and projects. The role will allow one to make an impact for our employees and join our vision of improving lives of people with cancer

Responsibilities:

  • Create salary survey submission files for Radford, SIRS, WillisTowersWatson, and Collet & Schafer for the US and all other countries where we have employees.
  • Submit data for ad-hoc surveys as well as annual salary increase surveys.
  • Assist with Company Peer Group determination and submission to salary survey providers
  • Benchmark Seagen jobs against the market data from our survey providers within MarketPay.
  • Perform job leveling/evaluation for roles primarily below the Director level Conduct quality control and audits of all compensation data (bonus targets, equity targets, job codes, etc.).
  • Act as liaison between the compensation team and survey companies Support of annual planning cycles (every six months) as directed.
  • Ensure clean compensation data in HRIS system. Create new job codes as needed. Update specific compensation data, like salary ranges, on an annual basis and as needed throughout the year.
  • Assist with the global compensation recommendation process for non-executive promotions.
  • Flag pain points and make recommendations to improve processes. Identify opportunities for quick wins and drive those forward.
  • Listen, know, and understand the voice of the HR customer and represent that to other teams and groups when necessary.
  • Respond to HR partners on behalf of the compensation team on requests for midpoints and job codes
  • Assist with building, implementing, and maintaining effective and efficient HR business processes.
  • Support HR projects around implementing new technology or improving HR processes by participating in requirements gathering, process design, testing and launch activities.
  • Participate in cross-functional projects to develop, implement, support, and review all policies, procedures, and systems.
  • Support internal and external process audits by providing documentation, participating in the audit walk throughs and work on remediation plans.
  • Support any additional ad hoc requests for the compensation department as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 3-5 years of compensation-related experience required
  • 7+ years of experience working in HR

Preferred Qualifications:

  • CCP or other related designations preferred
  • Experience within a compensation
  • Technology or Life Sciences experience preferred
  • Understanding of lean principles of process management and improvement preferred
  • Experience of working in HRIS systems (SAP SuccessFactors is preferred) and MarketPay
  • Competent computer skills, including Microsoft Office suite, case management and knowledge management tools (ServiceNow is preferred.)
