Summary:

The Sr. Manager, Enterprise Resource Planning is responsible for maintenance and support of the Financial Oracle ERP solution. This includes working with business, and other global IT departments, to own the IT ERP Finance portfolio, defining prioritization for each release schedule, addressing critical issues as they occur, and ensuring that the user community receives timely communications on system status, changes, enhancement of existing functionality and deployment of new functionality. He/she is also responsible for developing a training strategy for new users and managing/coordinating the training rollout for each major Finance major enhancement or project. The Senior Manager, IT Business Systems manages 6-8 business systems analysts and managed services contractors who support the ERP functionality and operations for the finance department. The senior manager and his/her team will develop requirements documents, convert to functional specifications, create the testing plan and test scenarios, coordinate training, coordinate production releases, support ongoing ERP project and deployment of major ERP enhancements.

Principal Responsibilities:

  • Work with key Finance stakeholders to identify needs of new Oracle functionality or process improvements, prioritize requests and incidents based on business feedback
  • Work with end-users to solve system issues and redesign processes when necessary
  • Identify areas of improvements and implement more efficient processes related with requirements gathering, system configuration, testing, user training, end-user support and roll-out
  • Manage testing and training for ERP Finance users
  • Communicate project statuses to all levels of the organization
  • Act as a functional/technical resource for system modifications, projects, major enhancements and upgrades
  • Focus on improvements regarding end user support of ERP software solutions, including troubleshooting, and implementing and documenting solutions

Required Qualifications:

  • 10+ years’ work-related experience and knowledge of Oracle ERP Finance modules
  • Knowledge of relational database technologies and reporting tools
  • Experience with SQL is a plus

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree or greater is required
