Summary
The Finance System’s team is looking for a Sr. Reporting analyst that can work with business and IT groups to help define and implement new processes and deliver operationally on Seagen’s Finance and Compliance reporting goals. In this role, you will leverage your Finance and report development background to help implement governance, data stewardship, and reporting processes. You will take on a lead role supporting the financial analytics and data mastering activities, and perform operational data stewardship, report development, and finance system support tasks together with your IT colleagues. You will partner with cross-functional leaders and your analyst counterparts to deliver high quality results and improve processes.
Principal Responsibilities:
- Gain expert knowledge of Finance systems, their data, and how they are used
- Help develop data governance, stewardship and reporting processes to support Finance Reporting
- Perform an operational data stewardship role using various mastering tools and SQL, to ensure master data is accurate, unique and useable for downstream reporting needs
- Design, develop, and implement new or enhanced Microsoft Power BI dashboards for Finance
- Translate strategic and operational concepts into reporting prototypes using SQL and PowerBI, and work with IT to create and maintain data models served from the Snowflake Enterprise Data Warehouse
- Help with new system implementations, gathering and translating requirements from stakeholders, and ensuring business rules are accurately captured
- Create documentation and change control records for systems and processes
- Support implementation and auditing of SOX controls for Finance systems
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in Biotech, Pharma and/or Healthcare industries
- Minimum of 5 years of experience working with Finance data in a SOX controlled framework, with preferred Oracle ERP and Snowflake experience
- Minimum 5 years business intelligence report development experience with SQL (queries, views, functions, etc.), and PowerBI, Tableau or related reporting tools
- Minimum 3 years' experience with data stewardship and data mastering solutions; preferably with supplier, HCP and HCO master datasets
