Description

Summary:

The successful candidate will support imaged capillary isoelectric focusing (icIEF) method development of antibody and antibody-drug conjugate therapeutics. They must demonstrate knowledge of electrophoretic separations, with some ability to troubleshoot instruments and method issues. The successful candidate will help design and execute experiments while demonstrating critical thinking to analyze data and results. Strong written and verbal communication with a high degree of organizational skills are a plus. They should work effectively with others and demonstrate the ability to collaborate within small teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Preparing and analyzing ADCs and mAbs by icIEF
  • Helps design and interpret experiments that require insight into problems being addressed with supervision and guidance
  • Presents and implements ideas or experiments to address scientific problems
  • Able to use scientific literature to help guide potential solutions

Qualifications:

  • Possessing or pursuing a degree in Chemistry or Biochemistry
  • Basic knowledge of electrophoretic separations for biomolecular analysis
  • Basic wet lab and micropipet technique
  • Strong reasoning skills
  • Attention to detail

Note: This is an onsite, paid internship. This position is open to all students legally authorized to work in the United States. We are not able to offer visa sponsorship for internships. While housing is not provided by Seagen, we make every effort to connect fellow interns to arrange for joint housing and ride sharing.
