Check Out our New "Life Science Toons & Teasers"

Life Science Teasers and Toons

Editorial Cartoon: Support Science and Reason, Puzzle Panel 1, conceived by Phil Ness, drawn by Reeve, 2021.

"Support Science and Reason"

LifeScienceHistory.com: Where history is made daily -– is coming soon, bringing you the history making news of the present and past, because history is made daily.

One of the new features that we'll provide relates to the lighter side of life science that we call "Toons and Teasers" where we will include select editorial cartoons, posters and other images from the past related to FDA regulations, hazardous products, health crisis, etc.

A very special feature, however, is not from the past, but our own editorial cartoon creation which we hope you find entertaining and thought provoking. The illustration style is that of the classic Thomas Nast (1860–1902) considered the"Father of the American Cartoon." The illustrator is Mark Reeve, a political cartoonist on The Mail On Sunday for three and a half years, and who has done work for The Economist, GQ, D.C. Comics, book covers, storyboards, film visuals, animation, and much more.

Our goal is to provide one original illustration monthly that mirror modern life science related issues, but in a humorous, entertaining and thought stimulating historical context. Each illustration will be done in the epic Reeve/Nast style and released in four weekly panels. The initial illustrations follow the COVID-19 Pandemic. We hope you enjoy our creations.
